We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact on the lives of students requiring additional support.

You:
The applicant must have recent and relevant experience in a similar role (level 2 TA or above) or be a qualified teacher.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students with SEND. Working primarily on a 1:1 basis, you will provide tailored assistance to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
In addition to the responsibilities of a Level 3 TA, the successful candidate will also take an important role in:
· Deliver 1:1 support to students with SEND, focusing on academic tasks, social integration, and emotional wellbeing.
· Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
· Monitor and record student progress, adapting strategies as needed to meet their evolving needs.
· Facilitate the inclusion of SEND students in mainstream classes and extracurricular activities.
· Provide support in developing students’ independence and self-esteem.
· Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
· Being an appraiser within our robust appraisal process to ensure that the highest standards are met for both staff and our students
