Claire Holden - Student Welfare Officer

I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead and a Student Welfare Officer here at South Wirral High School. I work closely with all of our outside agency partners and our families – and I’m here to support students with all aspects of their lives both within school and beyond. As with all staff here at South Wirral High School, I am passionate about inclusion and diversity and strive to make sure that all students feel safe and happy on site and within their local communities.

Miss Goode - SENCO

At South Wirral High School, we believe that all pupils are entitled to an inclusive education that allows them to achieve their full potential. Every individual is encouraged to challenge themselves, work creatively in collaboration with others and most importantly, achieve the sense of accomplishment that comes from the determined effort to succeed in learning.

My team and I are committed to supporting all students, especially those with individual needs. We have high aspirations for our young people and support them so they can achieve excellence, but also have the necessary adaptations and reasonable adjustments to ensure the best achievements, both academically and individually.

Please contact myself, or Ms Fidal (Assistant SENDCo) if you have any questions as we’re here to help.
