Year 11 and 13 Leavers Day - It has been a wonderful, emotional and jam packed day of celebrations at South Wirral today for the Y11 and Y13 official leavers day. This morning, Y11 were treated to ice creams from the Ice Cream van and then attended their Leavers Assembly in the main hall alongside Mrs Robinson, Mrs Molyneux, Mr Harrison & Mr Cloherty. From reflections, to tutor commendations, to some very special awards, the assembly was a superb moment for us all to come together to celebrate the wonderful Year 11 year group as they near the end of their GCSE exams. For Year 13, it was a moment for the seniors of the school to all come together for a leavers celebration in the Drama Studio with Mr Harrison, Mr Cloherty, Mrs Skeldon, Mr Cameron and the amazing 6th Form tutor team. We looked back on their time from joining us in 2017 to more awards and some final messages as the year group embark on their next chapters, followed by a few slices of Dominos pizza! It has been an unforgettable day here at South Wirral today and we wish those year groups a super, safe and relaxing summer. #TeamSouthy Mr Harrison ... See MoreSee Less
