Dear parents and carers,I have recorded a short video to explain a proposed change to our protective measures from Monday. We have reviewed our protective measures and have made the decision to make masks voluntary in classrooms from Monday. So, children will not need to wear masks in classrooms, but may do so if they wish. The same applies to staff. All our other protective measures remain in place, so for example students will continue to wear masks in communal areas eg: corridors and canteens, for the moment. We will continue to sanitize at the start of every lesson, follow the one way system and keep school well ventilated. In a week's time we will do a further review of masks in communal areas. We will continue to send text messages to families twice weekly to remind them to give students lateral flow tests.Thank you for your support,Mr Goodwin ...
