Dear Parent/Guardian,
We just want to reassure you that we are monitoring the Coronavirus situation on a daily basis and will of course keep you informed should we need to take any action in order to safeguard the health and safety of our school community. Meanwhile, as you would expect, we are planning to ensure that our students’ learning continues calmly and uninterrupted whatever the circumstances.
We continue to stress the importance of personal hygiene to all the students. There is a daily check that all toilets have soap and students have been told to report to a member of staff immediately if the soap runs out.
We are finding that the boys need more reminders about this than the girls, so it would be helpful if you could reinforce this message at home. The cleaners have reported that soap dispensers are not being depleted in the boys’ toilets.
Please could you check that your son or daughter has kept us up to date with any changes of address, telephone number or email address? You can update this information through EduLink or by ringing Reception on 0151 327 3213.
Meanwhile can we reinforce the advice that if you, or your son/daughter has recently travelled back from any of the countries currently identified as being at risk, including Italy, please let us know immediately so that we can support you. You can do this by ringing Reception or emailing school office.
More information can be found at www.gov.uk as the information is subject to change as the virus spreads:-
