Dear Year 11 students,
We are happy to now be able to confirm the full details of GCSE results day on Thursday 12th August 2021. As with last year, as a precaution to keep everyone as safe as possible during the summer, GCSE results distribution will be slightly different. Each student will shortly be sent an individual invite to collect results on the morning of results day. Your invite will give a clear indication of time and location for collecting results. It is important that you arrive promptly to the time you are given for collection of results. The time will be between 8.15am and 12.15am on the 12th August.
Once you have collected your results, you will have a short destinations interview with a member of staff. This lasts no more than 5 minutes but is compulsory in order for the school to confirm next steps information which is required by the local authority. It is also an opportunity for us to support and guide you if you are unsure about any aspect of your grade or next steps.
Once students have collected their results in person, we will then be able to publish results for students for each of you via Edulink at 1pm. If you are unable to attend results day in person, it is important that you let us know in advance so that we can arrange publishing of your grades on EduLink on the day. You can do this by responding to the individual invite that will be sent out.
Should you have any questions regarding any of the above, or you have any queries regarding grading or appeals then please email [email protected] at any point.
Many thanks,
Ms G Williams and Mr M Cloherty
