All past pupils of South Wirral High School, including those who joined the Sixth Form to study A Level subjects, are members of the South Wirral Alumni community, together with former members of staff.
The South Wirral High School Alumni opened in September 2016. It has been set up to develop and foster lifelong relationships between the School and its past pupils and staff. On these website pages, you will find details of alumni, events and news items of interest.
We would like to be able to contact all past pupils by email, and we would like to hear details of what you are doing now.
You can contact us by email at [email protected] or by filling in this Google Form.
Past pupils are regularly invited to return to South Wirral High School to give presentations and talks to groups of pupils or the Sixth Form. Recent talks have included presentations by Shaune Harrison, a Hollywood prosthetics and film makeup artist. You can also stay in touch using our social media accounts
For any enquiries email [email protected]
Shaune joined us from Glenburn Primary school in 1979, when the school was known as Eastham Secondary School – and remembers the friendly environment with fantastic teachers who supported the students every step of the way.
He has gone on to work on numerous Hollywood blockbusters as a Prosthetics & Makeup expert, and has recently set up his own school in Manchester.
“The skills I learnt at South Wirral High School helped me have the confidence and ability to set up two very successful companies. One is an Event Management Company and the other is a successful Medical Provider who works alongside Liverpool Football Club.”
