Open Evening 2026: Come and See Us for Yourself
We’re delighted to invite prospective parents, carers and students to our Open Evening on Wednesday 23 September 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
Choosing the right secondary school is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we believe it’s a decision best made in person. Our Open Evening is your opportunity to walk our corridors, see real lessons in action, meet our staff and students, and get a genuine feel for daily life at South Wirral, not just what you’ll read on paper.
What You Can Expect
At South Wirral, every student is known as an individual, not a number. Across the evening you’ll have the chance to:
- Tour our school and see teaching and learning in action
- Meet subject staff and our pastoral team, the people who will get to know your child by name
- Talk to current students about their honest experience of school life
- Hear about the opportunities available across academics, enrichment and beyond, whatever your child’s strengths or ambitions
We know families come with questions, and we want the tough ones. Come prepared to ask us anything, we’d rather you leave with real answers than a polished pitch.
