Teachers know your name and go above and beyond to help if there are any issues or queries. South Wirral helped prepare me for both university life and working life beyond that by teaching me to achieve the best of my ability and to also be an independent learner. South Wirral also offered many opportunities that both help my CV stand out but also gave me invaluable experience such as participation in a scheme in which I worked with younger children to help them with their mathematics.
It’s nice seeing my friends during break and lunch, and I’ve got some lessons with them. I’ve made friends by being a part of the football team after school, and I’m looking forward to going on the Drama trip to London in March to see Matilda and Aladdin. My favourite subject is German, and the one piece of advice I’d give to somebody joining South Wirral in September is to make sure you don’t leave your homework until the night before it’s due!! I really like the independence I have at South Wirral. I take part in lots of exciting extra curricular clubs including trampolining and Dance. In my first year here I have been on an English trip to Hadlow Fields, Food Technology trip to the Ice Cream Factory and I am looking forward to going on the Drama trip to London and Geography trip to Italy.
