Year 9 Parents Evening – Wednesday 30th November- 4pm – 6pm
Dear parent/carer
We are inviting parents and carers of all our Year 9 students to meet with class teachers on Wednesday 30th November 2022 from 4-6pm. This will be an opportunity for your teacher to talk through how your child is currently progressing in their subjects.
We are pleased to tell you that we are now using Arbor for our booking system for this event
Booking an appointment will be available from Monday 14th November at 12.00pm and will end on Tuesday 29th November at 12.00pm.
You can book appointments via the Arbor app or website, there is a guide linked below on how to do this from Arbor:
Each teacher will only be able to meet for 5 minutes with parents/carers to ensure that as many students as possible get to discuss their progress with teachers. You may note that appointment slots are in 6 minute blocks; this is to provide an additional minute of moving time for you between teachers. If you are unable to make an appointment with a particular teacher but wish to speak to them please use the note facility or email school office to indicate this and we will arrange for a phone call as soon as possible after the parents evening.
Please note that when booking on to talk to a subject that your child has more than one teacher for, you will only be given the option to speak to one of the teachers in most cases; this is not a mistake. That teacher will be able to give you feedback on the subject and will ensure that as many parents as possible get to speak with a representative from every subject.
