Over the last 4 weeks, Year 11 have had an alternative timetable that has supported them leading up to exams with specific subject sessions close to every examination.
During this time, Year 11 have been excellent, showing real maturity and focus. We have also had some requests in this time for Year 11 students to have study leave, to work from home. As we are close to the final examination, and with gaps appearing for students to be able to work independently, we propose the following changes:
Wednesday 12th June
Period 1 & 2: All Year 11 in Chemistry GCSE exam
Period 2: Students to return direct to their timetabled lesson at the end of the exam
Period 3: Students to go to German if they have this exam in the afternoon or Science for all other students
Period 4 & 5: German students in an exam, Geography students attending a revision session, all other students to be free to leave for home study via reception at 12.15pm
*There will be a Physics teacher available P4 & 5 for any student who wishes to remain in school for small group revision
Thursday 13th June
Period 1 & 2: Geography students in an exam, Dance students in a revision session, all other students in Science revision
Period 3: Dance students in a revision session, all other students to be free to leave for home study via reception at 11.00am
Period 4 & 5 : Dance students in an exam
*There will be a Physics teacher available P3, 4 & 5 for any student who wishes to remain in school for small group revision
Friday 14th June
Period 1: All students in a physics exam

Monday 17th June

It is expected that all students attend all the sessions that are relevant to them in the above information.

Mr Cloherty
