A Level Results Day – Information & Guidance

desks set up at south wirral high school ready for a level results day

Dear Student,

I hope you are well and have had a good summer break.

The below information is a reminder of the full details of A Level results day on Thursday 13th August 2020 that we sent out at the end of term.

Also available through this link is important information on the most up to date national guidance for results. This is something that you should read.

Results Day Information

Due to current guidance around social distancing, we decided that we will look to distribute results electronically, via Edulink on the morning of Thursday 13th August. Results will go live at 8am and you will not be required to come to school.

Although results will be published electronically, this does not mean that we will not be on hand to support you during this day. We are here to help you in a number of ways, should you require support. This includes guidance on confirming university and apprenticeship places, clearing and any other information needed on next steps.

If you have not done so already, it is vitally important that you fill out the following destination survey so we have a record of where students plan to go after Sixth Form, this form will also give you a chance to request a meeting with a member of staff on results day

Please see below ways in which we can help you on results day:

(1) You can contact us via [email protected] and request a meeting on results morning, should you wish to pick up your grades in person and receive face to face guidance. Should you wish to attend school, you will need to report to reception, observing social distancing rules. This will be students only (no other family member or friend will be allowed on site).

(2) You can also call us on the day of results between 8.30am and 11am on 0151 327 3213. We will be on hand to give you support over the phone should you require it. If you have not confirmed destinations via the above link, or contacted via school telephone, then we will look to contact you directly

Should you have any questions regarding any of the above, then please email [email protected] at any point.

Just a reminder that the Career Connect service is open and continuing during lockdown and if any pupil or their parents/carers would like any careers information, advice or guidance they can contact Career Connect via email [email protected] or contact Carol directly at [email protected] or if they prefer, by phone on 07805752608.

Many thanks,

Ms G Williams and Mr M Cloherty
