These successes build on South Wirral High School’s commitment to academic rigour and high expectations for every learner. This focus on excellence means that all students are well-prepared for their next steps – whether continuing in Sixth Form, moving on to college, or beginning an apprenticeship – and are equipped with the skills, qualifications and confidence to pursue the most successful futures possible.

“Our students should feel extremely proud of what they have achieved. This year group has shown great resilience, focus and maturity in their approach to learning, and the results they are celebrating today are richly deserved. The hard work of both students and staff, combined with our emphasis on high standards and academic rigour, ensures that young people at South Wirral are able to reach their potential and go on to exciting and ambitious destinations.
