Dear Parents/Carers,
There will be a phased start to the year to allow for all year groups to be tested and inducted separately.
| Y7 | Start Thursday 2nd September All students should arrive at school ready for an 8.45am start, and enter via the Student Entrance. The pastoral team will be there to meet them and show them to the main hall. Students should be in full school uniform and have all their equipment as detailed at the end of this letter. Year 7 will then be learning onsite every day. |
| Y8 | Start Monday 6th September Students need to will report straight to the Sports Hall for a COVID-19 lateral flow test. 8S must arrive at 8.45am and 8W must arrive at 9.45am |
| Y9 | Start Monday 6th September Students need to go straight to the Sports Hall for a COVID-19 lateral flow test. 9S must arrive at 10.45am and 9W must arrive at 11.45am |
| Y10 | Start Friday 3rd September Students need to go straight to the Sports Hall for a COVID-19 lateral flow test. 10S must arrive at 10.45am and 10W must arrive at 11.45am Working remotely from home on 6th September, in full time from September 7th |
| Y11 | Start Friday 3rd September Students need to go straight to the Sports Hall for a COVID-19 lateral flow test. 11S must arrive at 8.45am and 11W must arrive at 9.45am Working remotely from home on 6th September, in full time from September 7th |
| Y12 & Y13 | Start Thursday 2nd September All students need to go straight to the Sports Hall for a COVID-19 lateral flow test at 1.00pm. A level students – working remotely from home on 3rd and 6th September, in full time from September 7th Vocational students – in college on 3rd September, working from home on 6th September, in full time from Sept 7th |
Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 will be given all the information they need for their working-from-home days when they arrive. These working from home days are necessary to allow for enhanced induction of all students.
The day-to-day attendance at school will be as follows –

| Friday Sept 3rd | Year 11S start at 8.45am, 11W start at 9.45am Year 10S start at 10.45 am , 10W at 11.45am Sixth Form vocational students in college A Level students working remotely at home. |
| Monday Sept 6th | Year 8S start at 8.45am , 8W start at 9.45am Year 9S start at 10.45am , 9W start at 11.45am Year 10,11,12,13 working remotely from home |

From September, our school day timings well be as follows:
8:45 – 9:45 – Period 1
9:45 – 10:45 – Period 2
10:45 – 11:00 – Break
11:00 – 12:00 – Period 3
12:00 & 12:30 – Lunch & Registration
13:00 – 14:00 – Period 4
14:00 – 15:00 – Period 5
Please note removal of morning registration, and the ‘lunch & afternoon registration’ session will be split (Year 7, 8 & 11 students will go to lunch then registration, Year 9, 10, 12 & 13 will go to registration then lunch)
