Both my children have attended South Wirral during their high school years and they have both had a happy and fulfilling experience. They have both enjoyed many great opportunities and made many fond memories, during their learning, Oaklands, Barcelona, Italy, Belgium, London and the list goes on. Lauren has achieved her Duke of Edinburgh gold and sports leader award and Mathew is in the process of achieving his. Within this role, they have coached sport at south Wirral and in neighbouring primary schools. Gaining them confidence as part of a team and leadership skills. Lauren has appeared in dance drama as a member of Pre-vision and Vision dance company as well as performing exam work. An occasion which fills you with pride.
Lauren and Mathew both achieved brilliant GCSE results and went on to Sixth Form where Lauren again went on to achieve excellent A level results and Mathew is embarking on year 13 next September with good predicted grades. As a parent, I have always felt well informed via Moodle, Parentmail and parents evening, and have found the teaching staff very approachable and offer a good support network to the students and any concerns are dealt with promptly. Both Lauren and Mathew have a great rapport with the teachers and I believe are treated as individuals and with mutual respect. I am very grateful and thankful to the teaching staff who have helped them to achieve their goals. After receiving several offers at different universities Lauren chose to study her combined degree in Dance and Sport at the university of Sunderland and currently has had the amazing opportunity to study her second year in America at Towson University, Baltimore and is living the dream.
