Hi everyone, My name is Claire and I am the Student Welfare Officer here at school. I support the House Progress Leaders and the teachers to make sure everyone enjoys their time at South Wirral. I also work closely with the Local Authority, CAMHS, and Social Services. If you have any questions about the transition to secondary school specifically in relation to these outside agencies then please send me a message here.
At South Wirral High School, we believe that all pupils are entitled to an inclusive education that allows them to achieve their full potential. Every individual is encouraged to challenge themselves, work creatively in collaboration with others and most importantly, achieve the sense of accomplishment that comes from the determined effort to succeed in learning.
My team and I are committed to supporting all students, especially those with individual needs. We have high aspirations for our young people and support them so they can achieve excellence, but also have the necessary adaptations and reasonable adjustments to ensure the best achievements, both academically and individually.
Please contact myself, or Ms Fidal (Assistant SENDCo) if you have any questions as we’re here to help.
