Learning and Achievement
Our Sixth Form offers a wide range of subjects, with a curriculum designed to build upon the success of our students at GCSE. Our staff work hard to provide teaching which meets the preferred learning styles of our students and to develop their skills of independent learning. We identify strengths and talents in every student and set challenging targets to enable students to achieve ambitions.
Learning through Enrichment
All of our student participate in an enrichment programme where there are opportunities to develop new skills, complete community service and research University options. There are University visits, residential, a driving course and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award to enjoy.
Learning through Partnership
We believe that success in the Sixth Form is a result of a strong partnership between teachers, students and parents. Tutors, subject teachers and senior staff mentor and coach students entering the Sixth Form and this support continues with preparation for University applications. Learning mentors and counsellors continue to provide additional support to students.
