GCSE Results Day – Information & Guidance

desks set up at south wirral high school ready for a level results day

Dear Year 11,

I hope you are well and enjoying the break.

At this end we are looking forward to seeing you all for your appointment next week on Thursday 20th August to give you your results and talk through destinations.

Just a reminder that your appointment time was sent out via email at the end of last term on 9th July. We will look to send this out again to you early next week. This email will also include information on latest guidance from the government on results and appeals.

At this stage it is our recommendation that you do not request mock result information as government guidance is not finalised and it may confuse matters.

It is important that when you come to collect your results you stick to the social distancing guidelines we have provided. This includes:

(1) Coming to school at the exact time for your appointment to avoid large groups. Do not arrive early or late, arranging to meet other students
(2) Using only the entrance that has been given on your appointment slot
(3) maintaining a two metre distance where possible on school site

We will ensure that all appointments will be in safe conditions with hand sanitiser on entry and appropriate social distance in place.

Please keep a regular eye on your inbox and social media, as we will be these communication lines as the main way in which to give you information.

Many thanks,
Mr Cloherty and Ms Williams
