Fine Art Students Learn Graffitti
Talented year 12 AS Fine Art students are completing a project “IDENTITY”, a fascinating and exciting thematic. Students were asked to produce an original and highly creative response to their personal interpretation of the word.
We travelled across the water to the amazing Zap Graffiti Studios in Liverpool to make art in the ‘real world’! Students created a poster using spray cans and the graffiti lettering technique; an experience that staff and our Fine Art students relished. Year 12 student, Adam Nevin said:
“The workshop was very inspirational, and I would highly recommend other students to take part in trips such as this as it will help you develop new impressive skills in the subject.”
We excited to see how students incorporate this art practice into their work at school, adding additional techniques and competencies to their range of skills.
