On 1st December 2018 the way in which we send you emails is changing. Currently we use Parentmail to send messages to you. From December this will be changing to using EduLink One. You will see a difference in the look of the emails you receive and the emails will be sent from “South Wirral High School”. You do not need to do anything to continue receiving emails from us as EduLink One does not require you to register.
You will receive future emails straight to your email inbox as you currently do, however, if you use the EduLink One app they will also be delivered to the message box within the app. You will also receive notifications on your phone from the app when a message is sent.
Why are we changing?
With the growing use of EduLink One as our parent portal we thought it beneficial to bring all our school communication into the one app. For parents, it means one less login to remember and consolidates all the information into one easy to use app.
What do you need to do to keep receiving emails?
If you currently receive emails via parentmail you do not need to do anything. As long as we have your email address you will continue to receive emails. You can check the email we have on record for you and update it via the Edulink portal. Go to https://southwirral.edulinkone.com, login and click on “Update Information” to view and change your email address.
How do you download the app?
- Go to your chosen app store and search for “EduLink One”
- Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Download and install the app
- Open the app and enter “southwirral” as the school ID
- Enter your username and password for EduLink One
- Tap login
EduLink One will also see future upgrades later in the year including viewing the balance and spend of your child’s school canteen card.
