Curriculum Overview

In year 7, 8 and 9 students have the opportunity to study:

Art History
Computing Life Studies
Dance Maths
Drama Music
English Physical Education
Food Technology Religious Education
French Resistant Materials
Geography Science
German

In year 9 students also have the opportunity to follow taster courses in some additional subjects that can be taken in year 10 and year 11.


In years 10 and 11 students have the opportunity to study:

Biology English Literature Music
Business Studies (BTEC) French Music Technology (BTEC)
Catering Games PE
Chemistry Geography Philosophy & Ethics
Citizenship German Physics
Construction Health & Social Care (BTEC) Psychology
Dance History Combined or Additional Science

Drama Computer Science

All subjects are GCSE courses unless stated otherwise.

In addition there are 5 “Life Studies” days over the two years.


In years 12 and 13 students have the opportunity to study the following subjects:
